Scholarships

In addition to the Financial Aid program, Fulbright University Vietnam offers a range of scholarship programs for students:

President's Scholarship

From Class of 2027, applicants with excellent performances in both the admissions application and the interview rounds will be automatically considered for the President’s Scholarship (No additional application is required). These are talented students with outstanding academic achievements and meaningful community contributions.

The President’s Scholarship covers a part of Fulbright’s 4-year tuition fee and will be awarded based on the performances in the application and interview rounds, as well as the financial situation of each applicant.

Nguyễn-Phương Family Scholarship

In alignment with the mission to grow Vietnamese talents to become future change-makers, Fulbright University Vietnam and VietSeeds Foundation announced the creation of the Nguyễn-Phương Family Scholarship (NP Family Scholarship) in 2020. This endowed scholarship is funded by the family of Mr. Nguyễn Phương Lam as part of their long-term commitment to support and nurture generations of Vietnamese change-makers for a better and more humane world.

Annually, Fulbright awards one (01) NP Family Scholarship covering full annual tuition fee in four (04) years to one (01) incoming student who exemplifies the change-maker spirit.

This endowed scholarship is funded by the family of Mr. Nguyễn Phương Lam, a distinguished philanthropist in Asia. The spirit of the scholarship is to help form generations of Vietnamese leaders/changemakers (in all fields of society) for a more humane, kinder world – a world built on solidarity instead of competition; a world focusing on broad human development and social sustainability instead of just economic and material development; a world based on the principle that the meaning of human life is in the being, and not in the having.

Nguyen Tung Lam Scholarship

Established through the shared vision between Fulbright University Vietnam and Dr. Nguyen Tung Lam’s family to emphasize the importance of applying psychology in education and embrace the diversity of student bodies, the scholarship is created specifically for students who come from financially disadvantaged background and intend to major in Psychology.

This scholarship covers up to 50% of the annual tuition fee in four (04) years for one (01) student who can demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, have passion to pursue a degree in Psychology and have financial difficulties.

Class of 2027 Fulbright University Scholarship

With a generous gift from an American philanthropist, Fulbright is honored to have a scholarship program for the Class of 2027 to help Vietnamese students pursue quality education at Fulbright.

This scholarship covers up to 50% of the annual tuition fee in four (04) years for one (01) student who can demonstrate exceptional academic excellence and impactful engagement in community activities. In addition to the financial aid, the maximum support that a student receive can be up to 100% of the tuition fee for four years and housing expenses for the first two years at Fulbright.

Liberico Scholarship

With great excitement, Fulbright University Vietnam (Fulbright”) is honored to announce a generous gift from Liberico Joint Stock Company to form a scholarship program for the Class of 2027 to help Vietnamese young talents, who have a strong commitment to community service, pursue quality education at Fulbright.

The scholarship awards one (01) scholarship of up to 285,000,000 VND which will be deducted from the total tuition fee of undergraduate study at Fulbright University Vietnam to a student who can demonstrate exceptional academic excellence and important engagement in impactful community activities. Students with disadvantaged financial condition will be prioritized. In addition to the financial aid, the maximum support that a student receive can be up to 100% of the tuition fee for four years at Fulbright.

Bright Futures Scholarship

From the Class of 2027 onwards, Bright Futures Scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate students from families who were or have been severely affected by the wars in Vietnam or elsewhere. The recipients must possess outstanding academic potential with demonstrated financial needs.

Each scholarship recipient will have their housing fee waived for four years and receive a stipend of 30,000,000 VND each academic year for four years at Fulbright.

Wheel Cards Scholarship

Wheel Cards Scholarship is established through the generosity and commitment of Wheel Cards to support college students with disabilities in Vietnam. With the mission to create a more disability-friendly world, the Wheel Cards team decided to create a scholarship specifically to financially aid students with disabilities or mental health disorder at Fulbright University Vietnam.

The scholarship awards scholarships to incoming students (Class of 2027). The scholarship awards 5000 USD per year in 4 years, in which 3500 USD is to support to students’ financial aid package and 1500 USD to “Opportunity Fund” that the recipient can use for non-tuition related academic activities, extracurricular and/or self-development opportunities such as conducting research projects, conferences, devices purchasing, community services, taking on internship or student-proposed activities agreed by university administrations.

Vietcombank - Fulbright Scholarship

Established through the generosity and commitment of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam Thu Thiem (Vietcombank Thu Thiem), the scholarship is created specifically for students who have excellent academic achievements and financial difficulties.

Christina Noble - Fulbright Scholarship

Established through the generosity and commitment of Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, the scholarship is created specifically for students who have excellent academic achievements and financial difficulties.

The scholarship awards 120,000,000 VND (One hundred twenty million Vietnam dong)/ student to incoming students of Class of 2027. Every scholarship awardee will receive 30,000,000 VND each academic year in four years at Fulbright to cover the stipend.

TPBank STEM Scholarship

PBank STEM scholarships are granted to current students who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in STEM majors, as jointly selected by Fulbright and TPBank. This scholarship program, which commenced in 2021 and will continue for a period of five (05) years, aims to support students pursuing majors in Engineering, Computer Science, or Integrative Science. Successful recipients of this scholarship will be awarded grants to conduct research projects in their respective fields of specialization.

This scholarship program was established thanks to TPBank’s generous endowment.

Community Change-maker Scholarship

his scholarship is granted to current students of Fulbright in the form of project grants, recognizing academic excellence and/or positive community impact. In the academic year 2021-2022, a total of four (04) grants were awarded to Bachelor and Master students (Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management). These grants aim to support projects that bring about beneficial impacts for the community.

This scholarship program was established thanks to the generous endowment of Temasek International.
